Spiritual Discipleship

The primary work of the ministry is to develop people into Christian maturity by training them in the understanding of God’s Word and in the daily habits that lead to maturity. Because the church is composed mostly of young people, the importance of a strong spiritual foundation for these children is vital in order to prepare them to be leaders in the church and the community and the nation eventually.

Weekly meetings include worship music and bible studies, and preaching. The focus centers around the 4 pillars of Christ, Home, Church, and World. The daily habits consist of daily Word, Prayer, and Worship. Groups of children meet for Christian education in the church. The older teens teach the children, and the teens are taught in a round table learning environment led by adults.

Young people are being developed as leaders in the church through training as “brigade members”. These young people make a pledge to live a holy lifestyle and represent the Lord at all times. They serve as ushers, greeters, and teach the younger children. Currently more than 50 children are part of the brigade. These children meet for special instructional training.

The adults are also being trained in Christian education in a round table format led by the adult church leaders. The focus is on scriptures and applying God’s truth to their everyday lives.
