Youth and Adult Education

Hope Christian Church is part of the schooling process for more than 1,000 children. These children at no cost to them, begin school at kindergarten and can continue through high school in a rigorous academic program. These children learn French, Creole, English and Spanish. They are taught mathematics, science, philosophy, theology, and history.

Beyond the primary and secondary education, trade programs are offered to equip the students to be ready for a trade to earn a living wage. Trades offered and also coming consist of computer programming, floral arranging, tailoring, baking, farming, electrical, auto-repair, masonry, carpentry and framing.

Adults that are illiterate are also being taught to read and write in night classes at the church. The trade programs will eventually be open to adults as well.
